“Blueprint for Womanhood will serve to shift the paradigm of dysfunctional behavior that is undermining the quality of life for our mothers, our sisters, our daughters and ourselves. We will provide the keys that unlock the treasures of womanhood.”
-- Fatimah

Women are the pivotal point in the development of a highly functional society. They are the first teachers, the heartstrings of the family, and the glue that keeps it all together. Needless to say, if the mother has problems, the family has problems; if the family has problems, the community has problems; when the community has problems, the nation has problems. Whether the woman is making a living or making a life, she is either building or destroying relationships between herself and other women (and men); be it her own mother, daughter, friends or associates. These relationships define how we operate in the world and how we operate the world.

The critical bond between mother and daughter, which, subsequently, greatly affects a woman’s bond with other women in her life, can range anywhere from loving, to ambiguous, to strained, to downright hostile. Born out of a healthy bond are the jewels of the feminine.

For many of our young women and girls, technology and the media define who they will be in today’s global society. Unfortunately, this definition is not always favorable for them, their communities, or the nation as a whole. Where the mother, family and extended family once played the primary role in how the character of the child would be shaped and molded, shifting societal and cultural realties now have a destabilizing impact on the architecture of the individual.

Women’s timeless “secrets” and the principles of the feminine, once passed down from mother to daughter, are fast becoming rare gems, evading the soul of the female. Today’s girls are left on their own to define their “woman”; which, more often than not, leads to dysfunctional patterns of behavior, which now, becomes the defining factor of our society.

BFW will share wisdom and intelligence, stimulate inherent skills and talents, encourage critical thinking and analysis, and provide tools and resources to help women and girls growing in today’s world, consciously negotiate the journey into womanhood and become productive, global citizens.

BFW will help you create an alternative vision of womanhood—Womanhood as Sacred.
